These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of the website, services, and products offered by The Welders Workshop (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing our website, requesting quotes, submitting files, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.





1. Scope of Services



The Welders Workshop provides fabrication, manufacturing, and design services including but not limited to:


  • CNC laser cutting
  • Plasma cutting
  • Metal fabrication
  • Welding services
  • CNC bending/forming
  • CAD drafting and design services
  • Custom manufactured metal parts
  • Fabricated components and assemblies



All work is performed in-shop, and completed parts are packaged and shipped to the customer unless otherwise specified.





2. Quotes and Pricing



All quotes provided by The Welders Workshop are:


  • Based on the information, drawings, files, or specifications provided by the customer
  • Valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated
  • Subject to revision if specifications change



Quotes may include costs for:


  • Materials
  • Machine time
  • Labor
  • Finishing
  • Packaging
  • Shipping (when applicable)



Final pricing may change if submitted files or specifications differ from those originally quoted.





3. Customer-Provided Files and Specifications



Customers may submit files including:


  • DXF
  • STEP
  • CAD drawings
  • Technical drawings
  • PDF specifications



The customer is solely responsible for the accuracy of all files and dimensions submitted.


The Welders Workshop is not responsible for design errors, incorrect dimensions, or functional issues resulting from customer-provided files.





4. Design Approval



For certain projects, customers may receive:


  • CAD drawings
  • Layout previews
  • Dimensioned drawings
  • Design proofs



Production will only begin after the customer provides approval.


Once approved, the design becomes the final manufacturing specification for the order.


Changes requested after approval may result in additional charges or delays.





5. Payment Terms



Payment may be required:


  • In full prior to production, or
  • As specified in the project quote or invoice



Accepted payment methods may include:


  • Credit card
  • Online payment invoice
  • Other methods approved by the Company



Orders will not enter production until payment requirements are satisfied.





6. Production and Lead Times



Estimated lead times are provided for planning purposes only.


Actual production time may vary depending on:


  • Order volume
  • Material availability
  • Machine scheduling
  • Project complexity



The Welders Workshop is not liable for delays caused by factors outside of its control.





7. Shipping and Delivery



All fabricated parts are shipped from our facility unless otherwise arranged.


Customers are responsible for providing:


  • Accurate shipping addresses
  • Any special delivery requirements



Shipping costs may be included in quotes or invoiced separately.


Once an order has shipped, The Welders Workshop is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers.





8. Returns and Refunds



All orders are subject to the Return and Refund Policy posted on this website.


Due to the custom nature of fabrication work, all sales are generally final once production begins.


Remakes or refunds will only be considered if the delivered product does not match the approved drawings or specifications.





9. Intellectual Property



Customers retain ownership of their submitted designs and files.


By submitting files for manufacturing, the customer grants The Welders Workshop permission to:


  • Use the files for manufacturing purposes
  • Modify files as necessary for production
  • Store files for future order reference



The Welders Workshop will not resell or distribute proprietary designs without permission.





10. Limitation of Liability



The Welders Workshop shall not be liable for:


  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits
  • Product misuse or improper installation
  • Failures resulting from design flaws in customer-provided files



Our liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific order in question.





11. Product Use and Responsibility



Customers are responsible for ensuring that any parts manufactured are:


  • Properly engineered
  • Used safely
  • Installed correctly
  • Compliant with applicable regulations



The Welders Workshop does not provide engineering certification unless explicitly stated in writing.





12. Order Cancellation



Orders may only be canceled before production begins.


Once materials have been purchased or fabrication has started, the order cannot be canceled.





13. Governing Law



These Terms of Service shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law principles.





14. Changes to These Terms



The Welders Workshop reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time.


Updated terms will be posted on the website with a revised effective date.


Continued use of the website or services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
